Loreauville is a city located in Iberia Parish, Louisiana. It is part of the New Iberia Micro Area. The city 's economy is largely influenced by the boat building industry and related industries. Another important part of the city's economy is based on sugarcane. Loreauville hosts numerous parades throughout the year including a Christmas Parade, a Mardi Gras Parade, and a Homecoming Parade. Attractions in the city include Bayou Teche, Lake Fausee Pointe, Lake Dauterive, and Fausse Pointe State Park. The city's boat landing was scene in the 1977 movie Return to Boogy Creek. Students here attend the Iberia Parish Schools which includes the Loreauville High School.
