About Larose, LA
Larose is in LaFourche Parish, in the Bayou region of Louisiana known for the picturesque Bayou LaFourche. LaRose is the intersection point for the Gulf Intracoastal Waterway and Bayou LaFourche. The elevation is seven feet above sea level, and there are over 7,000 residents. The LaFourche Chamber of Commerce is located in Larose. Attractions include the Larose Regional Park and Civic Center. Larose is home to the LaFourche Parish Library, as well as a VFW.
