Upon move-in, the place was filthy. I noted this on a checklist. After nearly three years, I notified them of our move-out day 30 days in advance. I asked if there would be a walk-thru and was told it was unnecessary. I was told that I would be given my full deposit as long as it was move-in ready. It was move-in ready when we left -- We were only given $866 of a $1300 deposit. DPM charged us a $150 cleaning fee. They also charged $284 for general repairs: $25 for light bulbs, $24 for smoke detector batteries, $20 for an a/c filter, $30 for door stoppers,this is the funny one - $35 to regrout a kitchen counter top which was a laminate, $75 for weatherstripping and $75 for three new screens. Light bulbs and smoke detector batteries worked. A/C filter replaced and dated 2 days before move-out. Weatherstripping was missing when we moved in and noted on a checklist.
