What this place is missing in appearance they make up in patient care. The people are professional and truly care for their patients. I was nervous at first... VERY... But after talking with staff I knew this was the right place. I would recommend this to others going through situations that need this type of facility. ...read more
Coursey Urgent Care

So my wife had a UTI, and i knew she needed amoxicillin.\t\n\t\nSo we went down to the Coursey Urgent care, and found it was now a 'Lake After Hours'...\t\n\t\nWell, the visit was 120, and we were told there would be a lab bill arriving later for the urinalysis.\t\n\t\nOk, no problem... He wrote a prescription for amoxicillin, as i knew he would and headed out. \t\n\t\nWell, next week we got a bill for the urinalysis... 35 bucks, all god, i was prepared for anything up to 100... \t\n\t\n3 weeks later we got another bill... from Our Lady of the Lake... for $221... For the 'Use of their equipment'.\t\n\t\nI demanded a itemized letter, and it was sent... \t\n\t\nFor one person to put 3 drops of urine into a spectro-chromatograph and confirm, yes it is bacterial, they want $221.\t\n\t\nI had been going to Coursey Urgent Care for years and had no problems. \t\n\t\nI won't be back to Lake After Hours, or Our Lady of the Lake, (which, they will be happy to inform you are not associated, btw...) \t\n\t\nOutrageous. $400 to write a 8 dollar prescription for a week of antibiotics. ...read more

Cypress Hospital is now Beck Behavioral Hospital and is under new administration. Dr. Sanders is no longer affiliated with the hospital and the majority of the new medical and clinical staff are leaders from their fields including board certified medical psychologist, addictionologist, and psychiatrist, New additions to the team include licensed clincial social workers, certfied mental health technicians, and other related professional staff.
