Wow, we just had our 5th birthday party for my sons at Sunny Farms. It was great! We all love Mrs. Jane. She is wonderful with the children and always makes my boys feel so special. Everything is so organized & since she takes charge of all of the activities, I actually got to enjoy the party & visit with the other parents. The animals are all so gentle & the farm is nice & park like. (I especially liked that she didn't let a pushy mom take over my party with her ideas.) We will be back! ...read more

I've never written a review but after reading the reviews here I felt compelled to say that Ms. Jane *is*, at best, ""no-nonsense"". I can totally see how people take her as rude (I certainly did at my son's birthday party there).\t\n\t\nI feel that when you have a business dealing with people, and particulary children, you should go above and beyond to be friendly and nice.\t\n\t\nShe was definitely not friendly.\t\n\t\nLike I said, I just wanted to affirm the other reviews since someone marked as ""unhelpful"" all the reviews saying that she's rude. ...read more

I hesitated after reading the negative reviews and I am so glad I went with my gut and gave Sunny Farms a chance. It is very clear when you receive the confirmation email that Miss Jane is very efficient and wants to get the most out of your visit. She also sent me a reminder email with the check list the week of our party. My daughters party was this evening, we arrived 30 minutes early. I quietly unpacked the car, loaded our things on the provided cart, and we waited on the bench as the other party was still going on. I did not get yelled at, we actually waited beyond our allotted time for the other party to leave. Our party included 6 children, 1 tween, and 2 teens. I rented 2 horses so that the kids would get plenty of turns and the adults took tons of photos while the staff paused for poses.\t\n\t\nI really like her approach to giving presents, she has the children to bring their present to the birthday child one by one. Your child will not have to fight to open their own present and the child giving it gets to assist or read the card.\t\nMiss Jane took my daughter to the side for horse petting time and really made her feel special. We were not told to leave at 6pm because I was the one rounding everyone up. Miss Jane was the perfect hostess even with her injured arm. I would think if she was rude we would get the brunt being the last party of the day. \t\nIf you want your children to run wild with no supervision and no structure then this may not be the place for you I would suggest Chuck E Cheese or Monkey Biz. Miss Jane does interact very well with humans that follow rules and listen.
