My case management client was a patient at Kindred The Fountains Assisted Living for approximately 9 months. I felt that the nursing care and supervision were excellent and I was always notified with any changes or concerns about her condition in a timely manner. Medication management and administration were performed very well, especially in light of the complexity of her situation. The staff was great to interact with and genuinely strive to provide good care. The apartments are very nice and larger than most other assisted living facilities that I have seen. It was also great to have The Greens right there when periods of post-hospitalization rehabilitation was needed for my client. I would recommend The Fountains to others needing assisted living services. ...read more

Horrible pharmacy! Cannot get prescriptions right, pharmacy staff is generally unhelpful and rude. I called to speak with a manager 6/25/16 and the individual who answered the phone informed me that the manager was not there. When I asked him when the manager would be available, he responded that he did not know. I am forced to use CVS due to my employer, so I must stay with them. I guess I will transfer our prescriptions to a CVS in Lexington, and hope we can find one that can be somewhat professional! I had always shopped at Walmart or Kroger, but i decided one month to do my grocery shopping at the IGA which is much closer to home. The prices are a tad higher and the choices are somewhat limited...but I can honestly say that the groceries gotten at IGA were much better than I would have gotten if I had did my shopping as usual. The ribeyes are awesome...so tender and juicy and the taste is a lot better than I would have gotten with a Walmart or Kroger ribeye.I have always been a shopper who hardly ever goes outside the products that I like...but with IGA I had to choose a few items that were not my normal brand...I do not miss the normal brands that I usually buy. IF you have not shopped at IGA, I definitely recommend at least two shopping trips there...you will be surprised at what you find. ...read more
