The store was good many years ago. Now they have very little cashiers and the ones they have don't even want to bag your groceries. They want you to use self checkout but if you do they stair at you like your stealing. Almost every store I go to including this one is just horrible then they wonder why people are doing more shopping online. Nobody wants to be harassed while shopping. ...read more

On May 3, 2008, a beautiful steel gray filly named Eight Belles finished 2nd in the Kentucky Derby but tragically gave her all after crossing the finish line. She beat 18 colts that day and won millions of hearts. On September 7, 2008, Eight Belles' connections at Fox Hill Farms held a memorial service for her at the Kentucky Derby Museum. On behalf of my group, EB-AIMS (Eight Belles-Angels in Motion) and with contributions from me and several of our members, I placed an order for four dozen red roses to be delivered to the Museum for the service. My local florist, Sanders Florist in Durham NC, contacted The Blossom Shop to deliver the roses locally in Louisville. The people at The Blossom Shop were warm, courteous and very pleasant. The flowers were delivered on time for Eight Belles' service and were absolutely beautiful. If I lived in Louisville, I would always use The Blossom Shop for all my floral needs. A few days before my wedding, I realized that I had not ordered the bride bouquet & the groom boutonniere. I had worked with Sandy indirectly & knew she was good at her business. I called her & she worked diligently but could not have have my flowers ready until the day OF the wedding which happen to be a Sunday & she wasn't open! She opened up on a Sunday for me, met me 3 hours before my wedding & presented to me the most beautiful bouquet for my wedding. Their service was GREAT & I will be back!!!!
