One of the most important benefits is that you can live your dream and do life the way you want. What is your dream, how do you see your life unfolding? If you could live life your way what would that be? Do you want to be your own boss, make your own schedule, make lots of money and be able to enjoy it? Living your dream is not impossible and it may be closer then you think. Every one should have a dream, something that keeps them motivated. But at the same time both feet should be firmly planted on the ground. Dare to dream but dream realistically.    If you're dreaming of becoming a millionaire there is nothing wrong with that. If you plan to get there by starting your own business or through investments then that is a realistic approach. If you expect a million dollars to fall from the sky then get your head out of the clouds and replant your feet on the ground. That's not going to happen unless some bank robbers knock a bag of money out of their get away chopper. And even if they did you would have to turn it in. Of course you might get a hefty reward for returning it. Since that reward won't last for ever we better get back to business. If you like the idea of getting up when you want, a flexible schedule or making lots of money then being a freelance writer could be for you. Another benefit of becoming a freelance writer is no boss looking over your shoulder. How sweet is that?  Most forms of freelance writing can make you a decent living. Some can even net you six figures a year. A wise freelancer writes for multiple markets increasing their chances of making a very healthy living. It also helps to spice up the resume and fatten the portfolio which in turn helps to get better paying clients. It can also add a variety of work and break the monotony.
