Evarts is a city located in Harlan County, Kentucky. The city, which has been nicknamed " Birth Place of Adventure Tourism", is located between the Pine and Cumberland Mountain Ranges and has gained national notoriety as the number one off road destination. Attractions located in Evarts include Black Mountain Adventure Park, Evarts Trailhead, the Off Road Park, North Evarts Campground and the South Evarts Campground. The city is also home to the Harlan County Ridge Runners ATV Club. Students living in the city attend the Harlan County Public Schools which include Evarts Elementary and the Harlan County High School.
