My little girl has been at Sentou Dojo since she was in a car seat. She is so comfortable there! I also just went to a females black belt ceremony. Lots of girls and women train here! There are no assistants! Just sensi's! ...read more

The assistant instructor was doing a great job. The owner Frank Williams, however, is an absolute bigot toward little girls! This is a church not a martial arts facility. Mr. Williams uses the pretense of learning martial arts to sucker you in--within the first few weeks you will note that everything is about religion. After paying for my daughter to learn jujutsu, Mr. Williams directly informed me that he is uncomfortable with little girls and boys touching each other in order to learn jujutsu. Little girls are often made to sit on their knees and observe the boys performing martial arts. He goes so far as to explain to young children what their gender and expected gender roles should be. If like puritanical brainwashing, this is the place for you! ...read more
