This place says all the right things to get you to sign on the dotted line, and then they proceed to ignore you and do everything possible to make your special day a nightmare. They over charge you. They forget what day your rehearsal dinner is and show up 45 minutes late. They try to force you into spending extra money on things you can get cheaper elsewhere. Then, they break their deal with you and will force you to leave the venue early, despite what you have already paid for. They make you clean up all your own decorations the night of your event. When we asked for a receipt, she grabbed a sheet of yellow notebook paper, and scribbled on it that we had given her 1,000 and signed it. A piece of notebook paper. Very official. Very professional. \t\n \t\nWe ordered our own tablecloths and chair covers for the amount they wanted to charge us to rent just table cloths. \t\n \t\nThe night of the rehearsal, we arrived to find the place locked up and no one there. Turns out, Martha, the manager of our wedding venue, had FORGOTTEN WE WERE HAVING THE REHEARSAL THAT NIGHT. I was completely astonished. After everything else we had put up with, this was inexcusable. She told us it would take her thirty minutes to get there. So we sat and waited until she showed up.
