The most unprofessional organization I have seen in years. I took my daughter here seeking help. Initially most of the staff was beneficial. Staff was professional. However, after meeting with Kristi Dutton, and two confrontational appointments later, I walked out of her office and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was told that staff would attempt to place my daughter with someone else and that I would receive a call on Friday. I did not receive a call on Friday, and when I called the supervisor refused to speak to me. Seems they were just placating me to get me out of the office. I am not a difficult person, and why they retain staff that, although credentialed, have the bed side manor of a brick is beyond me. Avoid, take your child or loved one someplace else. ...read more

– A medical provider is offering area workers the opportunity for medical care that they may put off due to financial reasons. HMA MedWorks, 3810 , specializes in occupational medicine, but according to , President and CEO, many workers injured on the job and covered by work comp, aren’t covered by insurance in their personal lives….. which probably extends to their families. This is especially true if they have lost their job, are self-employed or simply can’t afford medical insurance or treatment.    During the month of May, each Tuesday, HMA Medworks will conduct “Pay What You Can Tuesdays”. said this program will take care of some of those immediate needs that are being ignored due to financial conditions. said the program will be on May 5, May 12, May 19, and May 26. It is only for “IMMEDIATE or EXPRESS CARE”. An example of that would be sore throats, colds, flu, falls or minor aches and pains. Medical emergencies should still go to area emergency rooms. No children immunizations will be given.
