Good food that could be even more delicious if this place wasn't overtaken by the loudness of the drinking crowd! If you don't mind not hearing yourself think, let alone the person you're with, than great place to go. ...read more

Cox Communications

I think Cox is a good example of a company that has gotten too big and lost vision of what customer service is all about. When attempting to get service for a new home built right between two homes that currently have Cox service, I was told I am not in there service area. When I explain that my neighbors on either side have Cox, I am told that will need to send out engineers to evaluate the new home. This could take 30-45 days. That is crazy enough but the engineers did come out and told my daughter there will be a cost share for us to get service. Whats up with that? Does anyone know anyone, who has paid to get their own cable run to the house? My neighbor didnt pay for his. I guess I am special. Or they dont want me for a customer. ...read more

LongHorn Steakhouse

Everytime I've been here with my kids and/or my boyfriend, we've been given the BEST service every visit. The food is served perfect and hot every time. The servers always get our drinks to us quickly and the Manager (Phillip) knows us by name. It is always great to see him walking around and chatting with people with such a real sincerity and friendliness. \t\n\t\nOur servers have always been great and the bartenders are quick to respond when I ask for drink suggestions. I've loved every suggestion they've made...especially the new Skinny Margs. \t\n\t\nOnly bad experience (if it could be called that) was one time getting the Southwestern Shrimp appetizer straight out of the fryer. It was swimming in grease. But the server quickly resolved it after seeing the look on our faces when we took our first bite. She quickly had it remade for us and it was so much better. ...read more

El Centinela

I love it. Finally an authentic Mexican restaurant. The enchiladas remind me of the street vendors I bought from when in Mexico. Pedro and Tomas are astounding with their customers. Can't say enough good about their food. I eat there at least once a week, and it is a rare, rare day that the food is not astounding. ...read more

Dickey's Barbecue Pit

2.0

By Ray

Everything is ok but not as good as it should be for this price. (over $10 per person for a BASIC meal, which was a sandwich, two sides and a drink) We ate there twice and will not be going back. Sides were cold and cheap, not actually bad, but it is stuff I could make at home. (think Bush's canned beans, instant potatoes, Kraft Mac and Cheese) The brisket was mixed with really fatty "mystery meat". No kidding, ordered brisket sandwich and the server threw some pile of fatty floorsweep on the cutting table THEN cut off two pieces of brisket to lay over the top of the pile. He then cut and mixed the whole mess and put it on the bun. It tasted gross. Happened twice so I figure it wasn't an "accident". If I pay for brisket and that what is in front of you, that is what I expect to be eating. I don't want you reaching under the counter for some fatty left over stuff to mix in with the "good" meat just so you can get rid of it. Like I stated, we will NOT be going back. ...read more

I recently took my family to Dickey's and we all really enjoyed it. The brisket I had was outstanding and my kids loved the smoked turkey. Very reasonably priced and friendly service as well. I went to Dickey's when they first opened and liked the food but it was so crowded. Not near as crowded now and still the food is great. We will be back soon. ...read more

Taco Casa

This use to be my favorite place to get fast mexican food. I went in at 12:00 p.m. for lunch and to my surprise there was no line. Usually always a line. Well I found out why. Help was in back talking, then I waited too long for one order to be made. The quality of the caso was not as it has been in the past. One of the employees was trying to get the pepsi machine working , and he must have wasted a cup of pepsi syrup trying to get the right mix. Not a pleasant experience. ...read more

This place is the best BBQ in Topeka! Love the ribs, oh my god I've never seen a slab of ribs with so much meat on the bones. We had Sunday dinner with our take home. We will be back. Love the stainglass and the racing decor. Oh, by the way this place pays great tribute and respect to our Military men and women. Thank you! ...read more

How Do Restaurants Make Enchiladas?

Many people think that an enchilada in a restaurant is much better than anything they can ever find at home, unless they know a lot of Hispanic people.
