l was a trans women that had joined The YWCA....it started ok,but as it went on they would insult me by calling me a man and a him. so go figure,,transphobia..l just want ahead and quit,,l didnt think the Y would be like that.l was being called by male pronouns by members and staff alike,,then it just started to spread,,lm sure they knew the pain it was causing me.. so what is up with that........l thought it was very unbecoming rude..l hope this will help better then with other transwomen that go there.....no matter how good l looked they would call me a man just to hurt me ..they knew l was trans fore l had told them..l thought it would be better..what is wrong with the topeka Y?l suppose they had jist had to hurt somebody.... ...read more
