I have purchased 6 vehicles from Wedel and Sons over the past 5 years. I have a plethora of nieces and nephews whose appetite for vehicles exceeds my ability to buy them, however Wedel's pricing is far below that of other retailers due to the fact that most of their cars have minor issues (which they make a person aware of). A dented fender here, a bad battery there... helps me keep our family in good, safe cars affordably. The dealership there is quick to point out if there are any major issues as well or if the car has a salvage title. The only vehicle that I purchased there that had a major engine problem, they bought back the next day. It was a problem neither of us had detected at the time of sale, however they stood behind the sale. The only drawback in dealing with these folks is that they are severely understaffed, however that keeps the overhead down as well as the prices. I am not related to these people, but have a close business relationship with them and felt after reading the previous review that I would provide a broader overview based on more than one sale. ...read more

If you want to buy a vehicle where the dealer stands behind what they sell you then this is your place. They stand way way way way behind what they sell you. I was stupid and took a verbal agreement to heart. I understood they were a family operation. I took compfort in that , I should not have. They told me they would extend the drive train warrenty beyond the 10% they had in writing . However when I got home and found that a axle was bent they did not honor their word . So buyer beware if you want to take a chance deal with this group . If you want to work with a dealer that has integrity,is honest and has values go on down the road I will next time. ...read more
