I earned my masters in management at the Krannert Graduate School of Management at Purdue University in 1985, A B.S. in Mechanical Engineering at Oklahoma State in 1983, and was a KS Scholar on the ACT test at S.M. South in 1979. I applied for jobs at MER, Smith Barney, Painewebber, Others after I earned my Masters. The people in those offices, starting around 1985, told me that my degrees did not matter. They have arrested me for trespassing, saying my stock ownership does not matter, and made up various other fictitious crimes against myself, that I have spent time in jail for. Why the public option of Obama's healthcare plan needs to fail
Here's a quick lesson in health insurance - There are 3 main aspects that control the destiny of any series of health insurance plans, regardless of what kind of coverage they provide - medical, dental, long term care - whatever - - - 1. how comprehensive is the coverage, 2. what kid of health histories will it accept, and 3. HOW MUCH DOES IT COST. Of those 3 things, one of them HAS to give or the plan's costs will go out of control. The "public option" of the Obama healthcare plan has no "give" to it. It is supposed to be comprehensive, it is designed to accept everyone regardless of pre-existing conditions, and 3. It is supposed to be inexpensive. THE ONLY WAY THAT CAN HAPPEN IS IF SOMEONE OR SOMETHING IS GETTING THE DAYLIGHTS TAXED OUT OF IT TO PAY FOR IT! Another thing - if his public plan gets approved as written, and you can mark these words, millions of people around the country will drop their health insurance. Why, you ask? Because if you can get coverage regardless of your health history, why pay for health insurance if you're not sick when you can just buy it when you are??? So the healthy people won't buy it, and the unhealthy will jump all over it. Next thing you know it'll be expensive as hell. You heard it here first. But then I've only got 22 years in the business, so what do I know... ...read more
