I have taken my now 8 year old daughter to this optical shop the past few years. Have not had any problems. Staff is always friendly & helpful. They listen to what type & color of frame a child likes & help guide them in making an appropriate chose for their face size etc. They truly care about the children & families that they service. I bought perscription sun glasses and took my old pair in to show them what tint I wanted on the lenses. I waited a week, picked up the glasses and they were not even close to the darkness in the example I left with them. I had to take the them to the Plaza store to leave for the day to get them tinted darker. When I picked them up, they were barely darker. It was explained to me that the material used for the lenses could not get any darker. They said they would have to do them over and I would be without glasses for another week. I haven't taken them back to Leawood yet because I hate to be without them. They made a mistake, no one said they were sorry. I absolutely love the people who work there. They help my children pick their own glasses and treat them like they are the only people in the store. They remember my kid's names and are excited to see them when they come in. I have always had great experiences with the quality of their products and they stand behind their work! ...read more
