DO NOT give these people one dime!! THEY ARE ILLEGALLY CHARGING PEOPLE. My friend was towed (from a church parking lot, no less, by the church itself) by these people on a Saturday, and we called to get it out that day, but they "weren't open" so we couldn't get it. She went on their first open day, MONDAY, and they proceeded to charge her $150 for the tow, and $90 ($30 for EACH DAY IT WAS "ON THEIR LOT") for a "storage fee." Seriously? She COULDN'T get her car on Saturday, and it was towed against her will!!! This is AGAINST THE LAW. Here is the KANSAS STATE STATUTE that SAYS SO: Chapter 8: Automobiles And Other Vehicles Article 11: Abandoned And Disabled Motor Vehicles Statute 8-1103 Pay particular attention to part (b). NO WRITTEN NOTICE WAS GIVEN. The front desk's response when we went back to dispute? Me, "This is the Kansas Statute that says this is illegal. And you're not giving us the money back."
