Have you ever tried to ship something a large as a hood & packaged it as to not incur any damage. Shipping companies consider this an "oversized" package & charge accordingly. I agreed to buy a hood for a 51 Ford car. I was quieted $ 175 plus shipping .I latter canceled the order and got a bill on my credit card for $125. So I assume the hood was worth only $50. Perhapes I'm reading the bill wrong, But it apperantly ,it cost a $125 to ship a $175 hood. ...read more
