I took my cat in because I found a lump on his side. Dr. Thomas said it was a "fat pocket" and it was nothing to worry about. That was in 2009. We went back because he was acting weird lately. "Dr." Thomas took tests, which costed me $300 just for tests. He then said he wanted to do exploritory surgery! That was gonna cost me $800! I took my cat to another vet. The Riley, KS vet lady (loved her!) said he has a tumor :(. She also said that my cat cannot have surgery because it would kill him, due to him being anemic. We tried to cure his anemia with medication, but it was too late. She had checked the x-rays and said they were really bd. His tumor was three times her fist! It was too late. His organs inside were shoved all the way down into his bottom area. We had to put him down. It killed me to watch that. She said the tumor had to have been there since 2009. Dr. Thomas should NOT be a vet. Please dont take your animals there. You owe it to your loved pets. I miss my cat terribly. :( ...read more
