Zales had quoted me a price of $35 to have a loose diamond in my wedding ring tightened. They would have had to send it away for several weeks and possibly even rebuild the channel the diamond was positioned in (or so they said). I took it into Westphal's just to get a second opinion, and Mr. Westphal was able to tighten the diamond (and check the others as well) in the few minutes I waited. He insisted that I not pay for it. I was so thankful for his kindness and honesty! My poor wedding ring has been through so much in my 3 years of wearing it, and most of it very costly and poorly crafted at the hands of Zale's.
