Fredonia is a city in, as well as the county seat of, Wilson County, Kansas. Students living in the city attend the USD #484 School District. There are numerous attractions located in Fredonia including Stone House Art Gallery, the Gold Dust Hotel, the historical Clock Tower, the Old Mill Dam, Sounth Mound Park, and the Wilson County Veteran's Memorial. There is an industrial park located in the city. As well as many smaller and locally owned businesses. Famous people with ties to the city include for US Senator George W. Malone and Arkansas Razorbacks football player Kendall Trainor.
