I d give it zero stars if I could! I signed a contract with Steve VanDyke on 2/22 after he came and did a visual examination of the tree and surrounding yard, giving me an estimate. Told me he would be there the following week to do the work. He didn t show up! Didn t even call. Five more times over a three month period he assured me he would be there to do the work. Finally on 5/24 he shows up with his equipment and crew. Pulls his truck in the drive and decides he doesn t have enough room to get his bucket over the house. Tells me he can t do the job. BTW - he bragged several times that he was a Christian and a man of his word. Guess that doesn t mean what I thought it did. Specialty Tree Service is nothing special - doesn t really know as much about tree cutting as they claim - and certainly do not provide service. Perhaps they should change their name! ...read more
