TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY HERE. YOU ARE BETTER OFF GOING TO BIG LOTS TWO DOORS DOWN. Recently, I purchased two makeup items that did not look right on me once I got them home. I looked everywhere but I could not find the receipt. I took the items back to the store to request store credit. I was informed by the manager, CHERYL that I would be unable to receive store credit or a refund because it was a makeup item and their "DM would come down on them" if she were to let me exchange the products even though the return policy posted in the store says the exact opposite. If have shopped at Dollar General for many, many years, but will no longer. I have realized that their customers are not the most important thing to them. They fail to realize that if there were no customers, there would be no Dollar General. I have received better treatment at Big Lots, Wal-Mart, Meijer, Walgreens, and CVS. Not to mention that the prices at the other establishments are lower. So, if you do buy something from this Dollar General, you had better be sure it's the right item, otherwise CHERYL will be sure to tell you that the store return policy posted at the checkout is just there for decoration. By the way, I called the corporate phone number and was told that I would receive a call from the DM. It has been two weeks and I have not received that call.
