I am actually doing well at Honors. I feel the public should know the truth. The owner, John Halal, has kicked out a make-a-wish student due to having to have blood work in the mornings and missing school an hour on Tuesday each week. I know of a cancer student who signed up and because of her treatments and being ill on a Saturday or during the week now and then (poor thing drags herself there because she wants to do hair so bad) they put her on suspension and threaten to kick her out all the time. This school does not have a great program either, if you want to really learn how to cut hair go anywhere but here. Their is a wonderful lady names Vicki who is an instructor and treats everyone like high school students and very condescending and mean. Please do not go here, the attendance policy even if you are part time for 17.5 months: only 9 Saturdays may be missed; you can never be late on a Saturday or you will be sent home even if it is one minute after; you must maintain over 90% attendance or risk being kicked out due to a supposed "department of education rule". AS PREVIOUSLY STATED THIS SCHOOL IS OVER RATED AND POORLY RAN. THE INSTRUCTORS ARE RUDE AND THE PRESIDENT IS A CROOK. THE ATTENDANCE POLICY ONLY COMES INTO PLAY WHEN THE STUDENT IS ABOUT TO GRADUATE OR CONTRACT IS ENDING SO THEY CAN BILLED ADDITIONAL MONEY TO COMPLETE THE COURSE.
