Indianapolis Bankruptcy Law Office of Eric C. Lewis
By inov8d July 16, 2018
Attorney Eric Lewis’s high ability and his rare integrity should place him at the top of any list of Indiana’s most valuable legal professionals. I would not hesitate to consult with him again should the need arise, and I would recommend him with no qualms or exceptions to anyone seeking legal counsel regarding financial matters. Mr. Lewis served as my primary legal counsel for a difficult matter concerning me and my business. Throughout our work together he proved himself to be highly knowledgeable, organized, trustworthy, patient, and pleasant to work with. Even as unexpected complications and delays arose on my end, which increased the complexity and lengthened the process of our work, Eric was transparent and proactive in alerting me to when the scope of our joint work might surpass the boundaries of our fixed contract. Ultimately, despite these unexpected challenges, Eric honored the terms of our original fixed fee contract to the letter. He surprised me with no additional fees or surcharges at all. Tales of such surprises are so common that one begins to expect them. Eric’s work was superb, and his integrity surpassed my expectations. If you are considering opening a discussion with Attorney Eric Lewis, don’t hesitate. He’s a consummate professional… and he’s a good man. ...read more

Indianapolis Bankruptcy Law Office of Eric C. Lewis

Eric Lewis is one of a kind in the world of lawyers, he truly takes to heart the intention of the founding fathers who insured the ability and the natural right to shed the oppressive weight of debt by including it in the Constitution before the Bill of Rights as well as in Indiana's own constitution in Article One that recognizes the "privilege of the debtor to enjoy the necessary comforts of life" by keeping a reasonable amount of property exempt from seizure by creditors. Reflecting on our own experience of Chapter 13 bankruptcy, there is no denying that having someone with Eric Lewis' character and work ethic having one's back was the most helpful attribute to have. Whether it was the pre-filing consultation and subsequent communication and dialog, or the various things that do come up during the process and even at the conclusion and eventual discharge, Eric's good communication and attention to detail was spot on and reassuring throughout the multi-year process. I would highly recommend Eric Lewis for anyone who is considering this avenue towards restoring their financial status. ...read more
