Frankfort is a part of the Clinton County region/metro area of Indiana. As of the 2000 census, the city had a population of 16,662 and it has a land area of 5.1 square miles. Frankfort was founded in the 1830s when the previous settlers of the Pense Brothers donated the land to county commissioners, naming the city the city off of the brother's great-grandparents' home of Frankfurt am Main. This complex is a crime scene waiting to happen, a few doors down from me a man raped his girlfriend, strangled her, and took the phone from her so she couldn't call the police so she escaped. Across the hall from me the husband and wife continual fighting keeps me awake at all hours of the night. The doors have been rigged so you can use any key to gain entry. Maintenance is slow to act on anything I've had a request in since the day I moved in almost 9 months now to have a closet door fixed that is falling off the hinges not a sign of repair. The toilet leaks still after it was supposedly repaired. The property manager is a pain to deal with, really I wish I would have thought twice about moving in here. Laundry facilities are broken quite a bit of the time, and also like to eat your money, and I have found multiple cockroaches that have not yet been taken care of. Turtle creek is a terrible facility and none of the staff know what they are doing. I lived here and I have been lied to by multiple staff members about my leasing agreement. When my boyfriend and I separated and I moved out and left him there, a member told me that my name was off the lease and I was no longer responsible for anything. Next thing I knew my boyfriend was evicted after losing his job and they are trying to get $2,000 out of me which I was SUPPOSEDLY not responsible for, and there was supposedly NO RECORD of me getting off the lease. Do not let these people fool you, they will do anything for money and they are frauds. This is a terrible place to live and I don't even know why these people are still in business.Also, I was charged with random fees that were different prices each month out of NO WHERE, and whenever I tried to confront them about it they just told me it was in my lease and basically pushed me away. I also tried to confront them about a cockroach I had seen in the hallway, but my work schedule was interfering so i could never go into the office and talk to them. But i left them multiple notes and voicemails and they NEVER responded, and NEVER dealt with the cockroach problem and I had continued to see multiple cockroaches throughout my time living there. ...read more
