I have been a homeowner in the Evansville area for more than 30 years. There are many good residential and commercial HVAC, plumbing and electrical companies serving this market. \t\n\t\nShekell has always stood out to me as a great example of a professional operation. From dispatch, to the technicians, to billing/customer service, they rate as one of the best in Evansville.\t\n\t\nWhen I purchased my current new home, the HVAC was already done by another local company specializing in new construction. They must give building contractors a heck of a good price, because they do A LOT of work. But when my system starting having problems only 3 months after installation, they were stumped. \t\n\t\nA call to Shekell, explaining my situation, was very illuminating. They told me my particular unit had a known issue covered under warranty -- something the other company was totally unaware of. Shekell came out and fixed the problem. It was obvious that the technician was much more highly trained and knowledgeable than the other guys.\t\n\t\nSince then, I've had Shekell repair leaky faucets, service my septic system, and do various electrical repair. \t\n\t\nNo, they are not the least expensive in town.
