My company was hired to videotape a service at Love Temple by Pastor Cosey. We scouted the location and went over the details of the two camera shoot, which was a fundraiser that they would use to raise money for their congregation. We were paid half of the invoice in advance. We filmed and edited the job and delivered the dvd's of the production. We submitted the invoice for the second payment of $1250 (which was a discounted rate for non-profits) and never received payment. After several weeks of trying to reach them and our calls being dodged we finally reached the Pastor who told me that they weren't going to pay because they were a church. It was very disappointing and has taken a while to get over. Hopefully other venders will be cautious in dealing with them and they should try to get paid in advance. ...read more
