Sherrard is a part of the Mercer County region/metro area of Illinois. Major attractions include Fyre Lake National Golf Club and Dave's Tap. Each year in the summer season there is the Annual Teen Battle of the Bands. Among the biggest companies in Sherrard are Limitless Travel Company and Custom Built Homes. The biggest schools here are Sherrard High School and Sherrard Junior High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Sherrard is Niabi Zoo.

Had a dispute with Mercer County Assessor about assessed value of my home. Called Gary at Absolute Appriasal, he came out, did an appraisal, got back to me in a couple of days with the finished apprraisal & offered to go to the County if I needed him.
