After being a patient for 5 plus years there, I was told I was no longer ALLOWED back to the practice because I missed an hour long appointment with a no call and no show. Yes, was it my fault for that, absolutely, and I understand if they need to bill you for that. But to not ALLOW A PATIENT BACK?!!?!? Seriously?! Great job practicing viable mental health care Perakis, Resis, Woods, and Associates. THEY ARE NOT FLEXIBLE AT ALL!!!!!!! Awful staff, rude, terrible communication. The receptionists should be the doctors. They are the only ones who actually act like they care about the patients. Not the doctors. DO NOT GO TO THEM!!!!!!!!! No wonder my initial doctor left the practice. ...read more

Behavioral Health Care Associates

The therapist seem pretty good. We have not been there enough times to really say how effective they are but...... Both offices in Schaumburg and DesPlains will leave you with a feeling that you need to take a shower the minute you leave. The offices are old and dirty. The DesPlains office waiting room reminds me of a funeral home and smells. The Schaumburg office gives me the feeling that criminals are going to be filed in for processing. The walls are dirty in both offices and the furniture looks as if it all came from a garage sale. Not giving you a feeling of safety or calmness at all. Makes me wonder if the $250 that is being charged per visit is going straight to the pocket of the owner because it sure is not going into the business. ...read more
