There isn't an option to only give a half of a star!! Within 30 seconds of her taking my order I was unhappy! She TORE open the bread to make the sandwich and it was torn to pieces! The sandwich would hardly stay together. The ranch was awful and they would do nothing about it when I complained. The tomatoes tasted anything but fresh! I would recommend to anyone visiting Pekin or for locals to definitely visit CJs for that first cup of coffee. The original storefront has been restored and the interior walls are colorful stripes . Its more of a visual element just walking into the restaurant. The front of the store has comfortable leather sofas and also wooden tall stools around a countertop.filled with homemade bakery goods. The happy colors along with the art that is on display by local artists will brighten your morning. The menus for breakfast and lunch are both healthy and created by the chef Mary Smith the owner of the restaurant coffee house. The pleasant staff will make you want to come back again and again. It kept me connected to the world by their wireless services that they offer for FREE. Just going in for coffee and helping yourself to one of their ceremic mugs made it feel like home. We were in Pekin for the weekend and couldn't take another burger so we decided on Chinese. We just happened on Fast Dragon by accident, and OMG! We eat Asian food at least a couple of times a month and have never eaten any this good. We've eaten Chinese food in many different cities, from take-out-only places to really posh restaurants and thought I'd had some good food but this was the best ever.
