This veterinarian is so unfriendly to both me and my pet! I was almost offended at how cold and distant they were This provider has no helpful information available online, apart from their address and phone number. They just have a basic listings page. They don't treat their clients equally at all, i was there for a low cost spay an i was treated low. the other clients in the office that were full pay got a smile and treated kindly.. i was told.. ohh your the humane society woman. theyy only make time for their favorite clients. If they didn't like me, they didn't make time for me. They didn't give me advice that would benefit me at all. no after care insturctins no pain meds for my cats.. they didnt even want to know the cats names. I agree with Sherri, go somewhere else...I had a horrible experience here. I recently took both of my rabbits to Paxton Vet Clinic for spaying and neutering. The staff was not friendly at all (they did not even introduce me to the vet, they just whisked the rabbits away) and I do not think that they are very experienced with rabbits. My female rabbit passed away four days after she was spayed, I think because she was not eating enough. We started syringe feeding her the second day, but she would only eat a very little bit. Every rabbit website warns owners about females becoming depressed and not eating after spays, but Dr. Updike was very dismissive and said that he had never heard of it happening. Six days after the neuter, the sutures came out of the male, so I went to the U of I veterinary hospital and they fixed it up. Dr. Updike might be good for other animals, but he was very condescending to me and does not seem to have much experience with rabbits. I would never take a rabbit ...read more

My dog had a problem that they were unable to diagnose. My office visits rarely lasted longer than ten minutes with very minimal testing. After several visits with all of these vets, I finally gave up and went to a different vet in another town where the problem was diagnosed in a half hour! Tim's is no where near what I would expect for both the price and the service. We hired him for a simple home job because we were going to be out of town for a few weeks. When we returned, we came home to a disaster. Items on our property were damaged beyond repair and the work itself was not something to be desired. When we tried to speak to him in regards to his "service" he became defensive and belligerent, very unbecoming from a man who owns and operates his own business. If I could, I would give them 0 star. I was so stupid to trust them and paid in advance. So when I ended my service with them and turned my equipments in Oct of 2008, I had 3 month worth of credit on my account. They have not return this money to me yet and it has been 3 month!!! The representatives you call at 217-379-2026 are very nice and friendly, but they can't make any decisions. So I tried to contact the head quart at the 877 number, no one answers the phone and no one returned any of my calls even though I left numerous messages.
