I went to sign my son up for after care only, which is from 3:00-5:45 p.m. I was told that I would need to pay $300 a mos. and $135 a mos. transportation fee. A total of $435 a mos for after care services ONLY. I was told I had to pay a $75 registration fee and a $200 mandatory family donation. However, they are only providing after care for my son, which is 2 1/2 hours a day. My son attends public school now. I was taken aback at the fact that First Baptists want parents who need after care services ONLY to pay full tuition rates and fees as if that child is a full time student. I know business is business but my goodness, where is the dividing line between right and wrong, fair and unfair. I called to advise Ms. Barbara that I would like a refund. yes, I was going to pay that ridiculous amount of money. I went to get my refund I was left with these final words from Ms. Barbara, and I quote "It is what it is". To bad the school was not what it should be. ...read more
