I'll never purchase a computer from this company again. they lied about the coverage of our extended warranty. We were told that it included "in home service" and when we called because the piece of junk needed repair, they said they don't have in home service. It appears they sell a warranty for another service agency and they made promises they cant keep. Be wary of their line of bs. I'll stick with Best Buy from now on. ...read more

The first thing you want to look at is the fan(s) inside your laptop. if the fan (sometimes fans) works just fine, then you need to look inside your laptop for any dust that has been accululating inside. Turn off the computer, open it and clean the heatsink. The accumulated dust prevents your processor from getting enough cool air and eventually makes it shut off to prevent any further damage to the processor and other components. Today. processor chips come with in-built thermal protection. If you want to see the system temperature, boot into bios and look in the system health section. You will see the temperature your CPU reporting at the moment. If your computer temperature reaches dangerous levels and your computer does not turn itself off, major components of your system will be damaged and will require replacement.
