Mapleton is a part of the Peoria County area of Illinois. Major attractions include Hollis Park and Lakeview Museum. Each year in the fall season there is Halloween Fest. Among the biggest companies in Mapleton are Sherex Chemical Company and Campen Walt & Son. The biggest schools here are Wheeler School and Limestone Community High School. One of the best places to visit when you are in Mapleton is the African American Hall of Fame Museum.

I cannot say enough good things about Roy Masheny. He takes a wholistic approach to human/canine relationships. My dog was aloof having been kenneled for the first nine months of her life and you could tell that she had some issues. After two lessons with Roy (the first one taught ME how dogs think/perceive their world) she was MY dog, devoted and responsive to my requests. Great tasting food. Cheeseburgers,walleye,pork chops,chicken,prime rib, salad buffet. Not chinzy on guantity. Prices are very reasonable. Dining area/buffet upstairs. Bar area downstairs that also serves food. ...read more
