Went to Carson's in Lombard to purchase a ladder shelf and a queen mattress and box spring. The sales clerk that helped us would disappear for 5-8 minutes every few minutes, giving no explanation about his wearabouts and returning as if nothing happened. Offered no explanation about types of mattresses, just showed us one of the most expensive and that was it. After we found a more reasonable mattress to purchase, the biggest explanation we got from him was about the mattress pad that would maintain the warrantee for $79. During the transaction, he commented to another sales clerk to tell his other clients that he would be there in a few minutes. Obviously he was working 2 clients at the same time. Upon delivery, they had a 1-4 p.m. window. At 3:30 they called and said it would be another 1 1/2 hr. before delivery. We had another commitment and left our home to attend it.
