About Ladd, IL
Ladd is a city located in Bureau County, Illinois. It is part of the Ottawa-Streator Micro Area. It is most notable for the large hill located in the middle of town that resulted from years of mining in the town and for the World War II tank located in the center of the park. It is also the county's music center with monthly shows at the Cancun in Ladd. The Lanuti's Tavern and the Rip Tavern are two restaurants located in the town that are famous for there fried chicken. There are four schools located here, Ladd Community Consolidated Grade School, Hall High School, St. Bede Academy, and the Illinois Valley Community College. Businesses located here include Bc Computers, D&M Contracting Incorporated, and Lanuti's.
