I ordered wheels for a VW Beetle. The wheels were advertised as "OE Reproductions". I received the wheels and had tires mounted on them. Once the tires were placed on the car, I discovered that the original VW hubcaps did not fit on the car. While the wheels appear close to the OE wheels, there was enough of a difference. The nubs that receive the hub cap are spaced just a bit farther apart than OE. But, these wheels are made in China--which I did not know when purchasing them. Since the tires had already been installed on the wheels, Mid America Motorworks informed me that they could not be returned. I have asked for them to send me a set of "smoothie" hubcaps that are "supposed" to fit at their cost. However, a manager must make that call. However, every time I call, I am told that a manager is not available. I am assured that a manager will call me back, which has not happened.The product you order may not be as advertised.
