After several months of preparation the annualACTS Student Convention(in Carlinville, IL) has concluded successfully thanks to Sister Kathy Creasy (Registrar) and her team at Apostolic Learning Academy. Their careful strategies createdthe best everconvention with many awards going to ALA students. Her ALA team included: Mark Creasy, Marcus Creasy, Kenny Davis, Pam Davis, Gina Frierdich, Melissa Coonce, David Ham, and the pastor's wife, Nilah Batchelor. Guest speaker, Rev. Eli Lopez (Associate Pastor of Christian Life Center, Stockton, CA) related in a profound way to students and sponsors while reaching their hearts with a nightly journey into Biblical principles. Besides attending as the guest speaker he also served as a judge in the Photography Division and had daily encounters with youth and adults alike. Many thanks to teachers, parents and pastors who supported and supplied energy to the26th ACTS Student Convention.
