This development is overpriced. The owner is a liar and very rude. John W. who wrote the 1st review in 2008 is the realtor and has no plans whatsoever to move there. They hire people off the street to cut the grass. Bad investment. ...read more

I am buying a unit here. A suburban townhouse subdivision in the City of Chicago! All brick (no ugly concrete blocks on the sides). A gated community for security! One block to a Metra Station for quick access to downtown Chicago! Low end prices start at $140,000 but what interests me are the high end units with all the bells and whistles and 3,000 square feet for about $260,000! FHA fianancing with 3% down fixed rate with no future surprise adjustments. And, on top of it all, a Chicago deal -- isn't there always a deal in Chicago? -- that gives the buyer an ANNUAL TAX CREDIT of 20% of the interest payments for the life of the mortgage. My taxes will be about $7,000 this year. And, if I qualify I might get my taxes reduced by about $3,600! This will cut my taxes by 1/2! I'd have to find a house for about $40,000 less without the tax credit for it to equal this deal! ...read more
