I was at the Family Planning downtown for an abortion yesterday and they were soooo nice...Even though I was nervous and wanted to just get through it the staff made the day as pleasant as possible. I would recommend this clinic to most people, the downtown clinic was easy to find - right off the highway . Also I don't have any insurance and I was able to get some financial assistance so I wouldn't have to pay the whole price. I simply cannot thank the entire staff of Family Planning Associates enough. A few months ago, my spouse and I discovered that there was a problem with our pregnancy. It was a very difficult decision to terminate, but I felt supported by the staff at FPA every step of the way, from the time I called to make the appointment until my discharge. I could have gone to the hospital to have my procedure but I wanted to avoid a sterile enviroment. I do not ususally write reviews, but I was so disheartened by the only other review on this site. I simply had to let everyone know that this is wildly inaccurate. FPA is clean and friendly, from start to finish. I had to wonder if that review was written by somone who simply opposes a woman's right to choose, because it in no way describes FPA or their exceptional staff.
