Met with Custom Concrete on 9/25/2013 to get an estimate do two things: 1) touch-up and seal my custom driveway and 2) extend the rear patio and refinish it with a decorative overlay similar to that of the driveway. An agreement made was made on 10/2/2013 to complete the work by November for $4184.00. After cashing the first one third payment on the same day (10/2/2013), Custom Concrete did not return to begin working until 10/21/2013. On 10/21/2013, Custom Concrete used a Bobcat machine to dig out the subbase for the patio extension, damaging my front and back yard in the process and demanded the 2nd one-third payment of $1394.67. Custom Concrete cashed the 2nd check very on the same day (10/21/2013). On 10/22/2013, Custom Concrete returned to finish the subbase and set up the forms and things seemed to be going well. Since 10/22/2013, however, Custom Concrete has not returned to finish any of the work and has made countless excuses. I am now seeking legal remediation. ...read more

Custom Concrete: contract signed on 3/16/2011 started work on 4/13/11showed up without an work permit, stated owner had to get the work permit. has failed to Finnish the job after numerous contacts Richie the owner promise to repair and take care of all issues 'Have not received any calls or contact for weeks". The concrete has developed an pocket an now holds water underneath the first back step , the electrical wire he cut in two different places where only taped w / wire nuts and buried very shallow in the dirt, needs to replace the concrete under the front steps they he had removed, steps are only propped up with bricks and 2x4s, needs to build an ledge above the top basement step to prevent water from seeping down to the basement. The $4,000.00 job was delayed for mounts the job did look good when first finished but during the work before completed basement flooded 3 times issues where bought up and Richie the owner promise to take care of after being paid he avoided all calls ...read more
