Music Matters School of Music will be hosting a marimba masterclass given by Jane Boxall on Sunday March 9th from 2-4 pm.  Pecussionist Jane Boxall keeps a busy performance schedule as a solo marimbist and as a rock drummer.  Originally from the UK, Jane completed her BA and MA in Music at the University of York before relocating to Illinois, USA, for doctoral studies with William Moersch at the University of Illinois.  Ms. Boxall performs with various ensembles in the US, UK, Italy, Belgium, France and Ireland.  This is a must for any music enthusiast and most important, IT IS FREE.  Call 630-406-8742 to register for the event (highly reccomended due to limited space).  ...read more
