I bought my first violin from eBay for 80 dollar but need a set of new strings, stopped there talk to lady manager and she suggested to buy a set of Dominant violin strings which cost me almost $50 plus tax...she said that will fit your instrument perfectly! she also charged me an expensive string setting fee on top of what I have paid for:(\t\nI later stopped at another music center for a violin case( everything is way over priced at music arts in Naperville) \t\nthe sales rep. told me I don't need a $60 set strings, all I need is a set red label super-sensitive strings for less than 20 bucks. I called music and arts in Naperville to sign up my daughter's piano lesson...spoke to front desk staff...they told me it will cost $24 to $25 per half hour because students will enjoy playing the best quality piano on the market....they told me to sign up lesson and not going to charge my credit card...just to keep on file and will be charged on the day of her first piano lesson...guess what? they charged my credit card on the same day when i called ..plus $25 reg. fee??\t\nI am very disappointed when my husband brought my daughter to have first lesson three days later ..he noticed that there is no real piano...all "the pianos" are actually keyboard with no pedals...they told my husband that all students are required to start from keyboard first because they are beginners.....\t\nI called them the very next day to cancel my charge due to the product/service is not as described at the time of my enrollment...they said it is too bad that I should have come to the store to check them out before register the class...when I ask for refund...they said NO..I need give two weeks notification...I am sure we are not the only customer who has been a victim of product/service fraud....called the corp office.....never heard from them again...\t\n ...read more
