Terrible! If you truly love your loved ones you will not choose Hearts and their manipulative, lazy, and yet demanding manager Carla. I have worked in long term care for over 12 years now. I love my residents and it s so hard seeing someone like this witch of a lady be in charge of them. I refuse to refer anyone in my care to her and am writing this review to try to get the word out else where. She is cold and uncaring, not only to her patients but to her staff as well. She is all talk and no action. she is quick to accuse and rebuke when in reality it is to her own demise. She abuses her power and position daily. She has even gone as far as to ask for peoples medical charts that are not in her care to try to persuade them and boost business. Which is such a HIPAA violation and so illegal. Do not do business for them and do not work for them! Trust me when I tell you that you do not want your name attached to theirs. Love your family enough to go elsewhere to get the love and care they need. The only reason I am even giving them one star is because they have a few nurses that are exceptional, Jerome and Cindy I believe. They should be running the show. I have worked for Homewatch CareGivers for a little over 3 and 1/2 years now and have yet to come across another Company that cares as much about their clients and employees as Homewatch does. I've witnessed on numerous accounts the Owner's going above and beyond what's expected in order to serve their community, including but not limited to sitting with clients during difficult times, being available in the middle of the night and on weekends, assisting employee's when they're in need, and contributing to the education of our community in order to create a Senior Friendly living environment. ...read more
