The Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival

5.0

By eco-imaging

If you're looking for a great family experience, the Farmstead Corn Maze and Pumpkin Festival is a great way to spend some time with your kids and create lasting family memories. Be sure to bring your camera. The pig races are a hoot, the food is great and every year you just never know what kind of maze they are going to create. One thing that I do know is that I do know is that it's always unique and a great time. Brent Johns eco-imaging ...read more

Challenger School

I have a high energy 4 year old who attended this school for 2 weeks. Within that time, he got upset 2 times and really pitched a fit in class over it (both times). He also would not "hold still" at naptime (he hasn't napped in over 1.5 years). The school EXPELLED him for this! I expected the teachers in the PRE-K class to understand that toddlers and preschoolers do not always know how to resolve emotional conflicts on their own. I expected them to help him navigate the situations by offering consultation/ideas. Instead, they ostracized him (spelling?) and made him feel horrible. If your child has ANY trouble being in control of their emotions, be aware they might be expelled. I really thought this school should be more skilled at teaching and guiding young children. Now I see they just want easy children in their class who won't "CHALLENGE" their lazy ways. Also, I guess they only think teachers are supposed to teach facts, not help kids become emotionally/socially capable. 2 weeks? ...read more

My daughter has atteneded Bearly Grown for 2 1/2 years and she is very excited to go every morning! She loves all of her teachers and the projects they do. The curriculum has been amazing! She learned her alphabet, as well as the sounds each letter makes inunder 2 weeks. Also, every on of the care givers have been very responsive whenever I have a request or suggestion. Bearly Grown is a wonderful place to entrust your children to! ...read more

I have two children that attend Bearly Grown. My 6 yr. and my 18 month old. They have both been there since they were infants. this is the only child care center my kids have attended and I have no plans on ever moving them. I feel a sense of security when I leave my children at Bearly Grown. I know their safety and happiness is the #1 priority. Bearly Grown has introduced my children to a vast array of knowledge through fun games an dinteractive play. For my older child, the preschool curriculum has been great! She was definately ahead when she started kindergarten. My children and I love this place so much! I have recommended Bearly Grown to coworkers and friends and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a safe, loving and encouraging day care. ...read more

Bearly Grown Child Care Center

My daughter started at Bearly Grown when she was a 1 1/2 until she was 2 1/2 and we had to move out of state. I was so impressed with the staff at Bearly Grown! They are so friendly and loving. My daughter learned soooo much in the short time that she was there. Her language skills blossemed as well as her social skills. They even broke her from the binki - which I had been trying to do forever! Not to mention the potty training which was a load off of my shoulders! As a working mom, I of couse had mommy guilt for having to leave my child, but it was such a relief to know she was in a safe and loving environment. It was hard to get her to go home at the end of the day. I highly recommend this facility to any family looking for a place that is clean, fun and loving as well as educating for their child. We would still be there if we didn't have to move. We LOVE Katie and her staff!! Whenever we come in to town to see family - we always make a visit to Bearly Grown too!! ...read more

Bearly Grown Child Care Center

My child has been attending Bearly Grown since he was 9 weeks old. Being in the infant room, he immediately bonded with the teacher and seemed so happy when I would drop him off and pick him up. He was always cleaned and had a smile on his face. As he got older, (almost two now) he moved into the toddler room and quickly adapted to that classroom. He is learning so much at his age with the wonderful curriculum they offer. He is starting to understand the zoo phonics curriculum and so much more!!!!! He loves going to "school" and runs inside when he sees his friends and teachers. The teachers are always so welcoming as soon as we walk into the door. They also seem very loving towards all the children. The facility is clean and smells good everyday. I would reccommend this facility to anyone and will continue to bring my child here as long as I possibly can! It gives me such a great feeling as a parent to see my child so happy and loves the place he is at five days a week!!!!! ...read more

Primetime Child and Family Education Center

5.0

By L.

Primetime is a great fit for my family. Not only is the price affordable, but their teaching staff is top notch! My child has learned so much since moving from another larger center in Meridian. At Primetime, my child has fun and learns at the same time!! The class size is smaller and more personal than the previous center where my child was 1 in about 22 kids competing for attention from the teacher and teacher's aide who had a habit of chit-chatting with each other instead of teacher and interacting with the children. My child and I are always greeted warmly in the morning and the evening as well. Even though Primetime isn't brand new and shiny, Primetime just feels right. The staff is fantastic. I highly recommend this facility to others! ...read more
