Be afraid, be very afraid!!! Tres Chic, 6443 Fairview, Boise, id 208.375.0285 I had a pedicure here - and my nails disintegrated when I took the polish off. I went today for a facial and it was a joke. This place is the caliber of a shop in a HongKong slum (yes, i HAVE been there!) Took me into a dark room partitioned off with fabric divider, could not even see where to put my purse or jacket. Ordered to sit on table (no upper disrobe for a facial?) She started rubbing creams on my face - no steam, no ambience, no question re what type of facial i wanted. I had an appointment for an hour? But when a walk in showed up for a haircut, she slapped a soppy wet cloth on my face and left me to go down to do the haircut. After 10 minutes, I wiped off my face and walked out. I had a pedicure and fill which were the worst job I have ever had done. Fingernails were all rough and uneven and I had to go back a second time to get a redo on the french polish and also had polish on the skin on my toes that had to be removed and then it was still there. Operator said all my problems with the nails was how I was looking at them. I have had my nails done for years and never had to have them redone. I had to come home and file them myself to make them even and smooth. I will never go back or recommend anyone to this business. Slower than most salons but the prices are the best i've seen in town. I get my nails done there all the time and hair trims too. Never have been waxed or had hair colored there. For products, mani/pedi's and gel/acrilic nails, she is the best price in town! $15 for a fill. Most places charge more than double that ...read more
