I just read the Facts and Impacts from 2012 and here we are again with the same possible potential of having them, the F-35, at Gowen Field. College is a time of growth. It is a time to begin to take what we have learned from our parents and families and try to make it work in the real world. The United Methodist Student group at Boise State University seeks to provide a safe Christian environment for young adults to explore their Faith Journey. Here they will meet other young adults on the same quest with many of the same questions and the same confusions. Through Bible study, prayer, and fellowship with other believers and seekers; we seek to provide an encounter with the Living God in and through the Living Word of God. At the same time, we try to have fun and provide a place where people feel comfortable just coming by and hanging out. We are an Open Heart, Open Mind, an Open Door faith community, where no one is turned away or unwelcome. We strive to love like Jesus loved; calling everyone to be sheep in the kingdom but knowing that all of us at one point or another can be goats. We are open to any college aged person, whether or not they are enrolled in any school, at Boise State, or at another area institution. Come check us out on Tuesday evenings. ...read more
