I went in with what I had valued at around 12500 dollars worht of gold coins, just to have a "professional" look at them. When I entered, I was not greeted, and I asked about having someone look at my coins. I was told to wait in line so that the specialist could look at them. I had no intention of selling them, but after a few minutes of waiting, one of the 2 unoccupied workers approached me and told me they would buy them for 200 dollars a coin. After explaining to him that I just wanted someone to take a quick look who had more professional knowledge, he told me that it was 65 dollars an hour and they only do it for insurance purposes. The way this was handled, I felt as if I had been slapped. The man became annoyed and it really felt insulting. My wife who was standing next to me grabbed my arm and led me out before I said something I would regret. Instead I said "we'll just take off," and we left.
